Optimism VS. Pessimism

Ok earthers the truth seeker creatures of this planet today we will delve into the idea of optimism and pessimism, more like the 2nd part of my 1st earth robert blog which deals into the idea of good and bad.

So which is better being optimistic or being pessimistic? Before we answer that let's give the definition of this two words first for those who don't know.  

Optimism: The idea that everything will turn out well (more like the good way of looking at things "positivity in short!")  

Pessimism: The idea that everything will turn out bad (The negative way of looking at things)

So on the example i give on the recent blog which is the idea of good and bad i give the lion eating a sheep. On that situation another sheep seeing that happening might become pessimistic because they will think they will become the next one to be eaten by lions, while the lion might become optimistic because he might think he can get another sheep nearby to eat.

So my definition of the two words might be wrong and of course the lion and sheep might not think that way just for the example folks! Just fot The example...!

But, let's continue to the question which is better being optimistic or being pessimistic? My answer here is both but the idea i choose is non of them because the idea i choose is called "Realism"! Yeah we're called earthers, we are seekers of the truth and to know the truth we must not clinge towards any concept,biases and ideas rather we muat deal with reality as it is not as we think it is... So why realism is better than optimism and pessimism? Well atleast for me i don't know for anyone else, but for me realism has a healthy balance of both good and bad, both pessimism and optimism, just the same idea that i put forth on my previous blog (Nothing is purely bad or good) everything has both good and bad elements into it just in different ratio some might have more good than bad and vice versa... The bottom line is everything has good and bad on them or atleast on their effects to others...

So Pessimism or Optimism which is better? Well my answer is Realism that means both and none of them! Being too much pessimist will make you a bitter and neurotic person while being too much optimistic might make you a fool living in a fake paradise... Deal with reality folks... Reality hurts, but reality is what free us.

Different people might have different view on this some might agree to me and choose realism dealing with reality as it is, some might choose pessimism because of their bitter experiences in life and some might choose optimism because they are raised to look at things with hope and positivity... It's all up to you folks at the end of the day all i know is i nothing and i just share my thoughts in this blog...

By the way regarding the two illustrations here of man and woman i created them and yes they are AI art i think two people looking at each other especially of opposite sex is a good representation of optimism and pessimism comparison and no i don't say one gender is optimist and the other pessimist i just like thw idea so stop speculating that i have gender bias folks... Again deal with reality!
